THERAPEUTIC ORIENTATIONs
Issues Treated
Life can bring uncertainty, and it’s okay not to be okay. My own experience immigrating at eight years old taught me the beauty and challenges of navigating change and culture. These experiences have shaped my passion for creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel empowered to heal and grow. I am a first-generation Vietnamese immigrant, bilingual in English and Vietnamese, and an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I hold an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy and am currently pursuing my doctorate at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
My therapeutic approach draws from psychodynamic, narrative, and solution-focused therapies. I help clients connect their past experiences to their present, rewrite unhelpful stories, and discover their own solutions. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic violence, self-esteem, burnout, relationship challenges, and somatic symptoms.
Taking the first step toward therapy can be difficult, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to walk beside you—with compassion, understanding, and respect—as you move toward healing, growth, and authenticity.
